The Studio is now closed for the winter. This does not affect orders made on the website which will be shipped as usual.
We are often being asked if we sell our designs printed onto the aida. It is not possible with Blackwork to print the design onto the fabric as we cannot guarantee that the print will sit exactly where you need it to be with respect to the holes on the aida.
With regards to cross stitch designs, we do not have the facilities to print onto fabric so we would need to outsource this which would increase the cost of the kits.
So, we have come up with an option which we think will help, we will now offer the choice of standard aida or magic guide aida for all our 14 and 18 count kits. (please bear with me while I add the options onto our products).
Magic Guide Aida makes it easy to accurately count and map out your design. Once you have completed your design, simply wash away the red guide lines. Specially designed for cross stitch, the clearly recognisable squares make it easy for beginners and professionals alike to create neat, regular stitches.
New Photo-2-Needle kits are now available.
Treat the Stitcher in your life to this new kit which covers the cost of the deposit for their own bespoke conversion from a photo or image to a cross stitch, needlepoint or tapestry chart. It also includes lots of tips to help get the best out of the conversion.
